Despite its diminutive stature, the Pomeranian is confident, outgoing and pomeranianish. The breed is easily adaptable to various environments and can be a pleasant and loyal companion for up to fifteen years.

 

The Pomeranian is a lively little dog. This toy breed is smart and eager to learn early in life. Loyal to their owners, they can also be stubborn, cheeky, cunning and temperamental.

 

One positive of the Pomeranian breed would be their ability to be excellent watchdogs. They are intelligent, quick-witted and aware of their surroundings. They may point out objects that are out of place before humans notice them. They are constantly watching for something to happen and usually catch when something does. They have a distinct, loud bark that often times makes them sound bigger than they really are.
